My journey to health coaching

My journey to health coaching began in the quiet.

As my children grew and our home slowly emptied, the familiar rhythms of my life softened. What once felt full and defined began to loosen. There was space- unexpected and tender- and with it, a sense that something was shifting.

I had spent years studying human development, change, and meaning. I understood transitions in theory. But living through my own empty nest taught me something gentler: that these passages are not problems to solve, but moments that ask us to listen.

I didn’t need fixing.
I needed room.

Room to grieve what was ending.
Room to notice what was emerging.
Room to integrate who I had been with who I was becoming.

Health coaching grew from this place. It became a way to hold change with care- blending psychological insight, embodied awareness, and compassionate presence. A way to support women without rushing them forward or naming their transitions as something broken.

Serenta Wellness for Women was born here, in this in-between space. It rests on a simple belief: that life’s transitions-whether the empty nest or any other turning point- are thresholds. And when we are supported, they can lead us not away from ourselves, but gently back home.
